Kumano Kodo And Cherry Blossom Journey – A Breathtaking Sea of Pink Blossoms🌸

This time, we witnessed the miracle of full bloom cherry blossoms in Mt. Yoshino! It’s so amazing! As we ascended from Shimo-Senbon to Kami-Senbon, we passed ancient streets, fragrant local delicacies, and quietly standing pharmacies and teahouses. And then, before our eyes, unfolded a breathtaking sea of pink blossoms spread across the entire mountain. 🌸

The moment we reached the highest observation deck, we were greeted by a breathtaking panoramic view of Mt. Yoshino dyed in cherry blossom pink—the sight was so stunning, it took our breath away.

But that wasn’t the only stroke of luck we had that day！😍

On our way to Kinpusen-ji Temple, we unexpectedly encountered a Shugendō monk blowing a conch shell. The solemn sound echoed through the valley and resonated deeply within us.
Both we and our fellow travelers were deeply moved—it was truly a miraculous moment we’ll never forget!!!🤩

In the afternoon, we serendipitously encountered a chanting ceremony at Kinpusen-ji Temple. In that moment, as the mantra of “Kongō Zaō Daigongen” was recited, we felt the profound power of this sacred site and the local faith, experiencing a truly purifying moment.
